We have both had a busy start to the winter out in Val d’Isere. Somehow we have reached the end of January and two months have flown by with no blog posts! Take this as a good thing, it means we are busy, which is much better than being quiet with lots of spare time. In fact, I am only getting to write this blog today because my filmshoot has been called off due to the bad weather we are […]

I am currently spending 4 weeks working in Zermatt, Switzerland. The BASI Trainers conference started us off, which Dougie was along for too. I was fortunate enough to be on the delivery team this year. Fortunate because opportunities to challenge myself in this way don’t always come along often. I was inspired working with the other members of the delivery team as well as learning a lot from facilitating our content and opening up discussions with so many experienced […]

Val d’Isere just won not one, but three awards at the 2016 World Snow Awards this week. Seems like a lot of people agree it’s a pretty great place to be! Winter is coming, time to get booking. European Resort of the year Ski Resort of the year Apres-ski Resort of the year
We have just had the pleasure of running a race camp together on the Grande Motte glacier in Tignes. 12 athletes from Scotland flew out for 9 days of race training. The snow conditions were brilliant and the training days long. It is unusual to have small training groups like this, more akin to an elite training program. We like how personalised the program can be with these ratios. It’s great to be able to work as a team and […]
